The real deal or a total steal?
The fine views and friendly staff created a relaxing atmosphere. Access to the beach area with comfortable sunbeds.
Unfortunately, the walk to town is rather lengthy and poorly lit at night, which can be a concern for some guests.

Hotel overall was top notch. The staff was wonderful, informative, friendly, caring, they make one want to return. Greetings from ACMT.
Only the distance from the city, but not a problem.

Location is excellent. Quiet, but easy 20 minute walk mostly on the shore into Hvar town. Position by the sea, sunbeds on different levels interspersed with pines and palms. Staff very friendly and helpful

Charming Stay with Room for Improvement
Enjoyed a lovely week by the sea, relaxing by the pool and indulging in delicious dinners with a Croatian twist. Though the breakfast could use variety, the room offered fine views. Remember to inquire about local transport options, as the walk to town has some steep paths!

With Hvar being a very busy tourist destination it is located far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. The whole complex enables you to relax and unwind. As a bonus we were upgraded to a superior room with a great water view.

This wonderful relaxing hotel tempted us with magnificent views. The facilities in the queen room were great, beds were good. The food was outstanding and lovely. Staying here for celebrating birthday was perfect, totally recommendable.

This is an excellent hotel, staff is very pleasant and efficient, the spa is secluded enough and offers a good range of treatments. The hotel has a very well maintained beach. Setting is lovely looking over Hvar Channel and Paklinski Otoci. I experienced some amasing sunsets while there.

great place, probably the best is the private beach, it's excellent considering that you don't have many good spots, and the ones that are good you need to pay like 15 euros for a bed (because everything is rocks) Reg the room: clean, spacious Reg hotel: nice facilities, the bar/restaurant setting is very nice, there is also a spa (but we never see he receptionist), very nice breakfast
We stay in the building behind, and there was no free wifi there (only in the main building), not a big deal though. THe restaurant was expensive and quality not so good compare to the ones in the town, but you are f far from town so you don' have many alternatives for lunch Location was great due the hotel has a beach but is bit far from the town (20 min walking, nice walk across the sea though) and the fact that is very hot make you think twice if you want a go for lunch to the town (we never did in 5 days)

Couple seeking a peaceful retreat
Enjoyed the fine sea views while sipping drinks at the bar, and the staff? Truly made it nice! They were attentive, going out of their way to ensure we were comfortable.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive but it was still tolerable for what we got.

The location and design of the hotel were great. The view from our 3rd floor room was spectacular. The staff was helpful and friendly. The swimming area and sun lounging chairs were the best. It was our favorite place to stay of the 6 different lodgings in Croatia that we stayed at.
The spa was not well staffed. We stopped by a few times to schedule services and no one was available. When we did speak to a spa receptionist to schedule services she looked me up and down and said the only open availability in appointments was after we would have checked out. With this in mind, schedule your spa stuff up front right away when arriving.

Location was the only aspect of this hotel that merited the price.
If someone wishes to combine a visit to Hvar with an idyllic seaside location, this is the place. If the seaside and swimming are not a priorities, I would take a look at some of the smaller hotels, or "sobe" within Hvar proper as Hotel Podstine is a 15 minutes (easy) walk to the centre of Hvar.

The delicious breakfast options that started each day off right!
The economy room is small with a view facing a wall, lacking a balcony.

Very friendly and helpful staff, wonderful views and location, fantastic private beach area. Nice breakfast overlooking the sea.
We had a superior room ( at no extra charge, which was very nice) over looking the bay with a lovely balcony. My only criticism is that the room decor is not quite as nice as the rest of the hotel and needs a little updating, but only a minor issue as everything in the room worked well and was otherwise very adequate

Really friendly staff and amazing location. Food in restaurant was excellent, and great value too. Walk into town was about 15 minutes, but scattered with incredible scenery. Felt lucky to be upgraded to sea view room.
